Ashley Wood:

Ashley Woods artwork feature a lot of smoke and mist which pairs well with the mechanical/steampunk theme. Also the characters have exaggerated features like legs, arms and feet i could feature this in my own art-style as i like to use exaggerated features much like Ashley’s style.

Feng Zhu:

I really like Feng Zhu’s artwork as it portrays a Utopian future, that shows the positives of developing technology and the side-effects such as war as desolation within cities. But it also shows a thriving culture and city life. Furthermore, I love the broad strokes used in his artwork as the more detailed parts pop out compared to the neutral background.

Ian Mcque:

I like Ian Mcque’s work as he does not focus too much on the background which makes you focus on the great detail within the actual ship itself. The art also shows the difference between the larger and smaller ships the smaller ships appear to be made from anything from street signs and corrugated metal. Where as the larger ships look more refined and more aggressive.

Simon Stalinhag:

Simon Stalinhag’s art that shows an alternative present where technology is far superior, his art shows the contrast between futuristic technology ,almost alien, and more modern technology we are used to. This creates a sense of and dystopian future where aliens have possibly taken over and now humanity must co-exist with this new species. I really like this art style as the alien technology seem to fit in and appear to be almost camouflaged into the surroundings. Furthermore, the art is very detailed with the wet floor showing an distorted reflection of the car lights.
